Chapter 13 says, Everything in this universe exists with a quality and it has a life in itself. Whether movable or immobile things, whether luminous things, non luminous things, anything that is existing has life and some particular nature or a quality. If a person understands this and brings that life to use, then he is a creator.
For example, metals are found in earth. Infact, if I go by our childhood textbook rules, metals are non-living. But, if I go by Bhagavad Gita, everything has life in itself. We just have to bring them to life.
So, if metals nature is discovered, if what it is meant for is discovered, then we make them useful and give a purpose to its existence. Meaning, we bring the metal to life. This is the reason for many creations that we enjoy today. For instance, electricity is created with the help of understanding the nature of minute particles, its existence, its purpose, its qualities. To understand the macro-organisms, you have to understand the microorganisms and hence , can create a macro level impact.
Its the same electricity that makes the led light run or a fan run. A tube light works as long as it has life in it. Once, it's life is gone, we know, then it is no more in usage. In fact, its failure of working also teaches us - to create something better.
It is only the human who can identify this 'life' , identify the purpose of everything that exists and "bring everything to life". The one who does this is a creator.
So, Krishna says, in Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 13,
prakṛtyaiva ca karmāṇi kriyamāṇāni sarvaśaḥ.
yaḥ paśyati tathā৷৷tmānamakartāraṅ sa paśyati৷৷13.30৷৷
Meaning - It is because of many things in nature and with the qualities of the existence of nature, actions are being performed. Realise that you and your nature alone are not responsible for the existence of nature.
yadā bhūtapṛthagbhāvamēkasthamanupaśyati.
tata ēva ca vistāraṅ brahma sampadyatē tadā৷৷13.31৷৷
Meaning - One is said to be a creator , a brahma, when one realises that various existences in the universe is due to one source and that is the life in everything.
This is the base thought, why many successful scientists, remain successful and still crave to find and create something better. They want to find life in everything, they want to identify the purpose of everything in the universe.
Lets imagine with the perspective of a business person. We must have observed, once a person enters into the business , he or she starts looking at everything as a useful market and everywhere an opportunity is identified. Whether in a public gathering, or a personal gathering or a business gathering, the person feels, there is a lot of space to create something, and wishes to see himself as a creator and that's when he disrupts the market with his creations.
Well, while getting into the steps of creator, it is very easy for the mind to crave for more wealth, more fame, more money, etc. Creating for self lust, self greed, or for revenge will not lead to long term success and long term happiness, but creating for solving a problem or creating for identifying the purpose and using that purpose for a greater work, is the ultimate creation and is a forever one.
In Chapter 16, Krishna says, there are 2 types of qualities, divine and demonic. Divine qualities will lead to forever experiences, short term as well as long term happiness and satisfaction, and demonic qualities will lead to narakam, which means, end of humanity around one self, popularly known as hell.
trividhaṅ narakasyēdaṅ dvāraṅ nāśanamātmanaḥ.
kāmaḥ krōdhastathā lōbhastasmādētattrayaṅ tyajēt৷৷16.21৷৷
Meaning - 3 ways to make way for narakam , a lifeless life. They are Kaama , Krodha, Lobha - desire, anger, greed.
ētairvimuktaḥ kauntēya tamōdvāraistribhirnaraḥ.
ācaratyātmanaḥ śrēyastatō yāti parāṅ gatim৷৷16.22৷৷
Meaning - Kounteya, Son of Kunti, When a human realises to come out of these ways and works towards betterment of that sole life source, then the target is achieved.
So, the creator mind, needs to be in constant remembrance, of divine wisdom. Instead of thinking to grow to gain more wealth, fame etc, if the thoughts to grow more is accompanied by understanding the growth of every other thing, like Why a particular thing is existing in this universe and how to bring this to life and make it useful and not harmful to anybody and at any point of time, then it is natural to become a creator of purposeful things. And you stay forever.
So, the key is not to stay fearful and stay closed, but to continue to stay in the right path, to do the right thing at the right moment. Who can help the creator to decide on these lines? Definitely a mentor who can see things with a lager perspective and with a broader vision. Exactly like Krishna to Arjuna.
So, Bhagavad Gita ends by Sanjaya ending the conversation with Dritharashtra that ,
yatra yōgēśvaraḥ kṛṣṇō yatra pārthō dhanurdharaḥ.
tatra śrīrvijayō bhūtirdhruvā nītirmatirmama৷৷18.78৷৷
Meaning - Whereever there is a balanced yogic Krishna and also a talented Arjuna, you find, Sri, Vijaya, bhuti, dhruva, neeti, mati, - wealth, success, happiness, achieved with the right firm mindful convictions.
Identify your Krishna, if you want to be a creator.Be like the talented Arjuna to find "the life" in everything that exists in the universe. Remember the Krishna Arjuna duo - the Guide to the Creator . All that you need to do is to surrender to your guide and become a purposeful creator. Stay remembered forever in the form of your ideas, your creations, your values and your betterment.
Lets explore Bhagavad Gita, stay confident, stay forever.
