Living in the moment is the key for a happy life. Agreed. But it is difficult to not think of anything about past and future. Time keeps changing. What do I actually have to understand when I listen to the phrase " Live in the moment"
We had got into the culture, knowingly or unknowingly, living in the moment is living life however we want, enjoyment is spend time in as much as leisure way possible. Tease or rag juniors till they feel bad, get attracted to opposite gender and feel that is the end of the life, drink and eat even if our tummy is full, either because we get it for free or we just enjoy food. We want to get into all sorts of monkey deeds as ordered by the monkey mind.
Imagine, if we are taught how to make friends with our juniors to create some product. Imagine we are taught to take failure and rejection whether in education phase or in attraction phase. Imagine if a teenager enjoys getting into the real time work with the help of his seniors. Imagine if the student bunks the class not to go for a movie but to attend a workshop or seminar as per their interest or to attend any of his or her family work. What if the student is working on understanding the passion and interest and planning how to work on the dreams.
Imagining itself is difficult. Exactly, mind doesn't want to take up so much of creative and productive role. Mind doesn't encourage body as well to take up any kind of physical stress. Laziness and ego takes over our most active phase. And we call, this enjoy your life. There is only one life. Well, why not, enjoy your life at your own cost and repair the damage at your own cost.
We have to know what exactly happens during that stage, there are a lot of hormonal changes. It is a possible task for an adolescent to keep the changes in track only if the student is aware of the knowledge of what is happening around him or her. Actually, understanding the meaning and balance of the existence of surroundings, environment inside and outside.
BhagavadGita has a shloka which truly shocked me. I learnt there are only 5 elements in nature. To run the existence, there are some more elements which add up. Krishna says,
भूमिरापोऽनलो वायुः खं मनो बुद्धिरेव च।
अहङ्कार इतीयं मे भिन्ना प्रकृतिरष्टधा।।7.4।।
bhūmirāpō.nalō vāyuḥ khaṅ manō buddhirēva ca.
ahaṅkāra itīyaṅ mē bhinnā prakṛtiraṣṭadhā৷৷7.4৷৷
Meaning - (Bhumi, aapah, analo vaayu, kham) Earth, water, fire, air, ether , (manah, budhi, ahankara) , mind, intelligence and ego are the eight elements of nature.
Living in the moment, real meaning is to understand these 8 elements. How each one is reacting to each other. The permutations and combinations that can happen. Getting into the desirous world is not wrong but balance of all these is the key for us.
Well, in this AI run world, every robot is and will be trained to know the senses and elements. Only difference is robot doesn't have ego and we have ego. When we give our ego a right place, by involving it in the right action, we can create a robot as well, otherwise we become robots in someone's hands.
Lets explore Bhagavad Gita. Lets understand and decode to evolve in our intellectual life and act exactly the way needed. Because action alone completes you and action alone builds your real confidence.

There are more than that and we are still not aware of other forms. Anything which is moving much faster than speed of light is still not humanly possible as our senses can’t understand and anything which is moving very very slow lets say 1 micro second movement in that plane is equivalent to 1000 years on Earth.
As of now on this plane the primary elements are :
Earth Primarily Elements are 5 : Earth, water, fire, air, ether
Human society elements are : Mind, intelligence and ego
Solar systems elements : Magnetic, Vacuum and more
Loved the examples and the direction of the solution.
It mesmariised me. About the other three senses which we often treat as some different qualities but yeah it’s true that they r senses N have to be used in right sense for good results… We control or lose them a soon our hands. Very simple N easy way of blogging to Understand bhagavatgita mapped to our daily nice… Great work
