Respected Narendra Modi ji, when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, was given a capability test by the universe, rather, I would say God. God threw an extra ordinary challenge at Modiji's leadership skills. A massive earthquake in Gujarat. The 2001 Kachchh earthquake was the third largest and second most destructive earthquake in India over the last two centuries. The earthquake caused over 13,800 deaths and extensive damage to properties in the state. Any leader's capability is measured on the grounds of resilience recovery after the disaster. Well, but with this leader, there is something more we need to continue to look at the way he overcame the test conducted by the God. The devastated area in Gujarat due to earth quake is recovered not just to its normal phase but transformed into a flourishing hub of industries, tourism and agriculture.

Let's now take a long shot to the phase when Modiji became the honourable Prime Minister. The Demonetisation Era. Another problem thrown by God at the leader's ability. Pak-printed high quality fake Indian Currency notes, the hawala operators. Taking a decision on currency / money is a big big psychological one and touches not just one segment of the country but every person, in person. So, the question is whether you take the decision and save India now or be a psychological fool, attached to momentary emotions and you don't decide and let things happen however it has to. How should the leader's EQ be?

When a major decision is taken as a leader, the bigger purpose has to be served while the current problem is solved. The leader has to be patient with the transition changes and feedback from the affected people. He has to constantly remind himself that the step might cause inconvenience to many people now, but this move curbs a future major inconvenience and unsettlement which is bigger and dangerous than the current uneasiness. Well, the problem thrown by God was carried with the best of solutions by the leader.

And the next problem, the vaccine war during the Covid era. God threw the problem to the leader to test the country's ability. Everyone of us knows , those were the times, nothing was in our hands apart from trusting blindly someone and some solution. So, who is that someone and what is that some solution? Our leader's strategy now is to pour immense trust and faith. On whom? On the Indian talent. We only heard and read India, Bharat as the ancient country. So, which means the oldest and eldest of all. India had taken the responsibility of big brother and helped the global family with its abilities. Is this what God wanted from our leader? To prove Vasudaiva Kutumbakam and Bharat is the only country which can uphold this?

Mr. Modiji with all the qualities of the leader, and much beyond, thought he would win 400+ seats in the 2024 Lok sabha elections. And he wished for an easy approach and a cake walk. But God again threw another challenge. How can a Mahaan's life be so easy? All his knowledge has to be tested and shown to people as example.

In Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 7, Krishna says, there are 4 types of people

चतुर्विधा भजन्ते मां जनाः सुकृतिनोऽर्जुन। आर्तो जिज्ञासुरर्थार्थी ज्ञानी च भरतर्षभ।।7.16।।

caturvidhā bhajantē māṅ janāḥ sukṛtinō.rjuna. ārtō jijñāsurarthārthī jñānī ca bharatarṣabha৷৷7.16৷৷

Meaning - Arjuna! there are 4 types of good people who follow the rules and live life. They are (Aartha, Jignasu, arthaa-arthi, jnaani ) people who are always worried, people who are anxious to know, people who want to earn more, people who are knowledgeable.

तेषां ज्ञानी नित्ययुक्त एकभक्ितर्विशिष्यते। प्रियो हि ज्ञानिनोऽत्यर्थमहं स च मम प्रियः।।7.17।।

tēṣāṅ jñānī nityayukta ēkabhakitarviśiṣyatē. priyō hi jñāninō.tyarthamahaṅ sa ca mama priyaḥ৷৷7.17৷৷

Meaning - Out of these people, the knowledgeable are ever balanced, always united with self and supreme, surrender themselves and they excel. They like to be in companionship with the divine and I like to be in companionship with them.

उदाराः सर्व एवैते ज्ञानी त्वात्मैव मे मतम्। आस्थितः स हि युक्तात्मा मामेवानुत्तमां गतिम्।।7.18।।

udārāḥ sarva ēvaitē jñānī tvātmaiva mē matam. āsthitaḥ sa hi yuktātmā māmēvānuttamāṅ gatim৷৷7.18৷৷

Meaning - All the people are considerate and generous. But, I think the knowledgeable who is concentrating on the self knowledge and mindful of balanced nature can reach the highest destination.

बहूनां जन्मनामन्ते ज्ञानवान्मां प्रपद्यते। वासुदेवः सर्वमिति स महात्मा सुदुर्लभः।।7.19।।

bahūnāṅ janmanāmantē jñānavānmāṅ prapadyatē. vāsudēvaḥ sarvamiti sa mahātmā sudurlabhaḥ৷৷7.19৷৷

Meaning - Out of those great souls, only that person becomes special or rare..sudurlabah... who can understand everything happens for a reason... everything happens as per the ultimate power (Vaasudevah sarvam iti).

So, is it just their faith on their work and the super power keeps them moving. The jnanis, while working become mahaans, mahaatma.
